Ain't Evolution Grand?

Our time in Australia is coming to a close. Tomorrow we will celebrate 38 years of marriage with a quiet dinner. Saturday we head for LA on the way home.

Today we visited the Sydney Wildlife World and found it spectacular. A lifetime ago I began my career as a sportswriter/photographer, so it was fun to view these incredible creatures (root word create) through the lens.

The beautiful North American spouse.

Yes, Jerry the elusive and exotic North American Spouse is a great photo capture. My sister used to live in Perth and now has a Wallaby at her ranch near Denver. I'm just a Wallaby wannabe and don't want a smelly little creature smacking the back of my legs with his huge feet. We're praying for the presidential selection. God Bless

Nice photos, Jerry! What a great experience it must be to visit Australia (I've always wanted to see the land "down under). By the way, it's supposed to get into the 30s today in the Chicago area -- a heat wave!

Great pictures! For the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with some of these creatures could you please list their names? That one is named appropriately, "Beautiful" and I hope you have a delightful meal together for your 38th.

That sleeping Kangaroo is adorable. I'm a sucker for cute animals, what can I say, and that one reminds me of one of my dogs. :)
