...but what a fun day. After having the rest of the Moody Bible Institute board of trustees and leadership team in town for a retreat, new trustee Kit Denison (Fort Lauderdale) and Moody COO Ed Cannon got me out into the wild. We joined my buddy Steve Musick for a day of fly fishing, probably the third time in my life I've touched a fishing pole. They were pros. I was the rookie.
They put me with the guide so I could catch the first few fish, and at one point, all three of us caught one within seconds of each other.
I won't be giving up the day job, but for a few hours, I was a pretender.

Be careful...you might get "hooked". (yeah, I know...I'm groaning too.)
Looks like a beautiful spot to use your imagination and pretend. What a fish! Dad taught me to use a cane pole and live worm bait at four years old, but I must admit I'd rather read a good book or write while I watch others fish.Barbara
Looking good.
Quick question...I heard you and another gentleman on WRVL Friday (Oct 31). A caller asked about the use of profanity in Christian books and one of you mentioned a book where about the first third of it takes place on death row. Was it one of your books? Which one? I do hope your able to find time to send me a quick answer, but if not I'll understand.

Yes, that was Riven, and the prison setting is the last third or so of the book.
